Voices of Hope Social Justice Symposium: March 16, 2011
Overview
This year marks the 4th annual Voices of Hope Social Justice Symposium hosted by Corpus Christi and St. Mark’s Colleges. Voices of Hope is a highlight of the academic year and a showcase of outstanding student research. Guided by the central pillars of Catholic social teaching and featuring the work and research of CCC and SMC students, Voices of Hope is an opportunity to explore the social, political, and environmental challenges that we face in the 21st century.
The theme of this year’s symposium is “Waste and Plenty” and will feature student researchers speaking on topics that include social inequality, industrial waste, reproductive health, human trafficking, food security, and environmental protection.
