Letter to Parents

If you have any questions about CCC, we encourage you to call or visit our Campus. Parents are always welcome to set up appointments with our advisors. We work closely with many families as they prepare their son's and daughter's university applications.

Corpus Christi is a fully-accredited member of the B.C. Transfer System and maintains agreements with institutions across Canada and the United States.  Its programs have been approved by the University Presidents’ Council of B.C. and the College is a proud member of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities of Canada. And more recently CCC has been given the authority to grant the 2-year Associate of Arts Degrees that students may apply towards future degrees at 4 year institutions.

Corpus ChristiCollege offers university transfer programs in Arts, Commerce, and Science.  This means that CCC graduates continue on to Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science programs at institutions throughout the province and around the world.  Some of our graduates have also pursued degrees in fields like Human Kinetics and Fine Arts.  Our courses transfer easily throughout North America.

CCC offers an intimate, student-centered program emphasizing academic excellence and personalized attention, benefiting from class sizes averaging about 30 students.  They also enjoy various connections with the UBC community.  Our students are members of the AMS (UBC Student Union) and have both UBC U-Pass bus passes and UBC library cards.  Many of our students also supplement their Corpus Christi studies with UBC courses taken through Access Studies.  It truly is the best of both worlds. 

Our students complete courses with instructors that are experts in their fields, many holding joint positions with Corpus Christi and SFU or UBC. Our instructors have chosen CCC because they believe in our student-centered approach. Our challenging first and second-year courses are transferable to degree programs at BC universities and other universities across Canada and the USA. We are located near the heart of UBC's campus and our students are members of the AMS (UBC Student Union) and have full access to UBC clubs, activities, libraries and the U-Pass bus pass. Our campus also provides a library and student spaces for study and socializing in addition to our classrooms. Many of our students have also chosen to reside on campus in either Carey Hall or St. Andrew's Hall.

Parents are excited about the prospect of their children attending a Catholic Liberal Arts College with tuition fees that are comparable to the BC public universities. Our scholarship program is second to none and no qualified student will be turned away based on financial need alone. Our commitment to academic excellence, our student-centered environment and our comprehensive student services package are ideal for any young adult entering post secondary school. What also makes us unique is our commitment to providing for the social and spiritual needs of all our students.
