Registration: Enrolling in Courses

Often confused with application for admission, registration is the process of selecting and enrolling in classes at the College.  Once an Offer of Admission has been made, students are eligible to register for Corpus Christi courses.

Registration for the Fall (September) Semester and Winter Semester (January) opens in late May  Students may register for Spring Intersession courses (May-June) as early as November.  Registration dates are publicized by the Registrar well in advance and course offerings are found on our website. Check here for the current list of courses.

Corpus Christi College students have a substantial amount of support for course selection and registration.  Each student has an advisor who will meet with him or her and discuss course options in light of individual career and academic goals.

SOAR 2013 will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2013.  All first-year applications and their parents are invited to attend.  This event is designed to welcome new students to Corpus Christi College and prepare students for their first year of studies.  If you are not able to attend SOAR this year, you will be able to download all updated resources (the SOAR guide and course timetables) as soon as they are published.  These reources include:

  • SOAR Guide:  This comprehensive guidebook includes all the detailed information you’ll need about Registration, Student Services, important dates, course descriptions, and student life.  Please read it completely and carefully!  You are responsible for this information, and will be expected to know CCC policies and expectations.
  • Course Timetables:  When you enroll in courses, you’ll enroll for the Fall Term.  Your course timetable will automatically be filled once you enroll in a course.  The system prevents you from enrolling in courses which conflict with one another.
  • Summer Registration Form: ENGL 109 is an important foundational course for all students at CCC. However, for those students who did not attain a minimum 80% mark in English 12, it is a critical step to academic success. This course is ONLY offered in the summer, so students are able to prepare these important academic skills before taking on the challenges of a regular course load. ENGL 109 will run from August 19-30, Monday to Friday, from 0900-1230.

English and Math Placement Tests - Registration Form Here

Students who achieve less than 80% (final blended grade) in English 12 but who wish to be considered for direct entry into ENGL 110 will be required to take the CCC English Placement Test (EPT).  Students who achieve less than 80% in Principles of Math 12 but who wish to enroll in Math 110 will be required to take the CCC Math Placement Test. Students who have credit for Principles of Math 12 and Calculus 12 are eligible to enrol in Math 204 or Math 110 & Math 111.  Students who need to take one or both of these tests should email advising@corpuschristi.ca to schedule a test time.  There is a $50 fee for each test.

The EPT and MPT are simply tests that help us determine appropriate placement of students in our English and Math courses.  For more information, see the SOAR registration guide.

Registration Process

Before you will be allowed to register for courses, you will need to pay a Admission Deposit of $150 (non refundable but will be applied towards tuition) .  This can be paid online or cheque or debit .  Cheque payment can be sent by mail to Corpus Christi College (attn: Bryan Young), or submitted on campus.  Make cheques payable to Corpus Christi College.
