Student groups and clubs bring together students of similar interests to get involved on-campus and throughout the community. Joining a group or club is an easy way to meet new people, create memories, supplement your co-curricular record and more!
Catholic Colleges’ Student Union (CCSU)
The Executive Council of the Catholic Colleges’ Student Union (CCSU) represents the official student government for the Catholic centre at the University of British Columbia (UBC). The CCSU acts as a liaison for students of St. Mark’s College and Corpus Christi College, with the Colleges’ administration (President, Dean, Registrar, etc.) in matters related to academic policies and other policies that impact students including but not limited to: tuition increases, fees, classroom space, clubs and events, and more! Committed to providing leadership development opportunities, social activities and engagement with groups represented on-campus, the CCSU strives to respond to the community needs of every student.

Practice your skills in an informal and fun setting with this Spanish language conversation club. The club welcomes all native Spanish speakers and those with beginner or intermediate level Spanish. Topics will vary every week and will be connected to material students have been learning in class. There will be a beginner's group and an intermediate group, led by the instructor and a native speaker student. The club will also join in available social activities!
Join the Cinema Club to enjoy monthly, themed movie gatherings with good company and good food!
We begin conversations and develop friendships with those who live difficult lives. During the academic year, we are committed to a monthly food and fellowship gatherings at The Door Is Open, a drop-in center located in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown east side.
Whether you're a marathon runner or a beginner, the Running Club provides opportunities for students who enjoy exercise to partake in short runs together. De-stress from routine school work through bi-weekly runs that leave from campus; and team participation in City-wide races, just to name a few possibilities!
We are committed to monthly gatherings, during the academic year, that include food and fellowship. Each month, with help from special guests, we try to grow in deeper understanding of our great life’s calling.
Do you play an instrument or sing? Do you want to share your musical passion with others? Join St. Mark’s Parish Choir! All skill levels accepted. We meet in St. Mark’s Parish every Wednesday from 11:30am-12:00pm for practice followed by music ministry at the 12:10 mass.

Through the connection with St. Mark's College, students at Corpus Christi College can join AMS Clubs at UBC.
Host an Event
Submit your ideas to host a student engagement activity or event on-campus at St. Mark’s and Corpus Christi Colleges. Approved submissions can be advertised on the Activities & Events calendar, student newsletters, and mobile app.
Event ideas must be submitted by a person authorized by the group or club host. Submitted events are reviewed and evaluated by the Campus Life and Ministry Office, before being included in the above-mentioned promotions channels.launchSubmit An Event!
Create A New Club
Do you have other interests than the groups and clubs listed above? If yes, share your passion! Create a group or club by following these steps:
Step 1: Make sure that the group does not already exist on-campus by referring to the list of groups and clubs above. Step 2: Recruit a minimum of 2 executives that are students at Corpus Christi College, and 5 general members who are also students.Step 3: Print and fully complete the Student Group / Club Application FormStep 4: Return the completed Student Group / Club Application Form to the Campus Life and Ministry Office mailbox, at the Corpus Christi College Welcome Center.Step 5: Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be notified that group / club status has been granted.
