Programs and Pathways

Associate of Arts Degree

The Associate of Arts degree is designed to provide broad-based knowledge and experiences in preparation for entering the workforce or as a foundation for further undergraduate study. Students develop strong critical thinking and research skills through coursework in English, philosophy, psychology, economics, and more — building a credential that gives an edge when applying to Bachelor’s programs.

Degree Requirements

All students completing the Associate of Arts degree must fulfill the following conditions regardless of concentration.

Total credits: 60 credits

Minimum GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (65%) on all Corpus Christi College courses applied toward the degree is required for graduation.

200-level Arts requirement: A minimum of 18 credits (6 courses) completed toward the Associate of Arts degree must be at the 200-level in Arts subjects across two or more subject areas. Arts courses used to fulfill any AA degree requirement may count toward this condition.

Students intending to complete the Associate of Arts degree are strongly advised to meet with an Academic Advisor during their first term at Corpus Christi College. Completed degree checklists must be submitted to an Academic Advisor for review prior to graduation.
