FREN 114: Introductory French IV
French grammar and composition, culture, reading and oral practice. FREN 114 is the fourth in a four-course series intended to bring the student’s language level to at least the equivalent of French 12. Not open to students with credit for French 12.
FREN 123: French Language and Literature I
FREN 123 provides a comprehensive review of French grammar and an introduction to contemporary literature written in French, with emphasis on essay writing and textual analysis. FREN 123 also provides opportunities to develop oral communication skills.
