What is Voices of Hope?
Voices of Hope is an annual social justice symposium hosted by students of Corpus Christi College for students in grades 11 and 12 or students enrolled in college and university programs, who are interested in social justice topics and leadership. Guided by the pillars of Catholic social teaching, this one-day event features a keynote presentation, outstanding student research and opportunities for networking with young adults and professionals of not-for-profit organizations who share concerns about the social, political, cultural, religious and environmental challenges of the 21st century.

“Duties of Care”
SYMPOSIUM THEME
“Everything is related, and we human beings are united as brothers and sisters on a wonderful pilgrimage, woven together by the love God has for each of His creatures and which also unites us in fond affection with brother sun, sister moon, brother river, and mother earth” (LS, 92).
Do you believe in the value and dignity of every person and all of creation, but find yourself troubled by prevailing issues of: the decline of the quality of human life; pollution; climate change; and politics, the economy, and technology?
Do you believe in the urgent need for dialogue and cultural, global, and spiritual solidarity in responding to these social and physical threats to our homes, schools, communities, and future generations?
Duties of Care: Everything is Related student social justice symposium is an opportunity for emerging social, political, cultural, religious, and environmental leaders (grade 11, 12, college/university) to come together to learn, to inspire, and to be inspired about the truth that we are all responsible to care for our common home.
