Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff:

Due to the current and expected extreme weather conditions, in-person classes are cancelled, and the campus is closed for Corpus Christi College – St. Mark’s College campus at the University of British Columbia for Wednesday, January 17th, 2024.

The UBC Campus is open for only essential services until further notice.

Staff members are expected to work remotely when possible. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact the HR Office.

3. Unless otherwise specified, an announced closure will be in effect until 6:30 AM the next day.

No Announcement = Corpus Christi College – St. Mark’s College campus is considered open
If you do not see a closure announcement, the COLLEGES ARE considered OPEN. 

  • When the Colleges are open (during inclement weather), our Operations Department will ensure the building is opened on time. 
  • Classrooms are accessible for classes to take place. 
  • Students are also reminded that individual circumstances vary widely and, when the Colleges remain open, those who judge that it may be unsafe to come to campus should contact the appropriate offices. 

What should I do if I cannot get to campus? 
– Students who do not arrive for classes due to weather are to send an email to their instructor.
– Faculty who are unable to make it to campus should contact their class and contact the Academic Dean or Dean of Theology and front office.
– Staff should contact their immediate director or manager.
