Shaping Future Leaders at Corpus Christi College
May 6, 2025
At Corpus Christi College on the UBC campus, scholarships do more than cover tuition—they help shape future leaders through mentorship, community, and service.
Mauricio, a Burnaby Central graduate, church server, volunteer board member in B.C.’s arts community, and recipient of a two-year full-ride scholarship, found a welcoming home at Corpus. “Everyone was eager to build community, not just get a good education,” he shared. Now enrolled in the INSPIRE Leadership program, Mauricio is developing real leadership skills through volunteering and service. “The scholarship helped me—and also made me want to help others.”
Becca, a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas and an aspiring high school teacher, discovered Corpus at a youth ministry expo. She was drawn to the personal learning environment and the scholarship’s service focus. “Knowing my tuition was covered gave me time to focus on what I love,” she said. “I’ve had meaningful service opportunities and grown as a person.”
With scholarships and leadership programs at its core, Corpus Chris, College nurtures students grounded in service, faith, and academic excellence. Applications are open for Fall 2025. Major scholarships close May 15. Learn more or apply at bit.ly/futurestudentsapply or contact: [email protected].
