A Morning of Gratitude

The 25th Annual Fundraising Breakfast
Twenty-five years ago, a simple idea took shape: gather as a community over breakfast and invest in the students who will go on to serve a world that needs them. On November 1, 2025, that idea filled the room as 416 guests came together for the 25th Annual Fundraising Breakfast, raising more than $223,000 for campus life and student scholarships. Every gift opens a door for a student to pursue their education, build community, and grow into the kind of compassionate leader our world is waiting for.
It was an honour to welcome Archbishop Richard W. Smith to his first breakfast to deliver his official address as Chancellor of the Colleges.
We were also delighted to host Premier David Eby, who took the stage to speak and to witness the dedication of our community of supporters.

The gathering brought two generous commitments to celebrate as well: a gift from the Cullen Family to fund the Cullen Chair in Media and Communications Studies, and a gift from the Micallef Family for security upgrades to the Dr. John Micallef Memorial Library. We are honoured to work alongside these families to strengthen campus life and support the next stage of growth for our Colleges.
None of this would be possible without you. Our heartfelt thanks to our 52 sponsors whose generosity ensured that every member of our community could join us, and to the students, staff, faculty, volunteers, and our Advancement Committee, whose collective energy brought the morning to life. We are especially grateful to our friends at St. Thomas More Collegiate, our host venue, whose generosity and support help create a welcoming environment for the Breakfast each year.

Because of you, students can pursue their calling within a community grounded in faith and excellence. Your partnership provides life-changing, transformational education through scholarships, student support, and academic and spiritual formation, helping ensure that no deserving student is ever turned away.
Across twenty-five years, what has never changed is you, the donors, alumni, volunteers, and friends who continue showing up for our students. Thank you for a quarter-century of generosity, and for the years still to come.
